In this article in will show you how to find the edl points of Redmi note 5 in order to flash the phone without unlocking the bootloader
In the edl mode your device will be connected in the com3 port or something like that so you can use any flash tool to flash but i recommend you to use the xiaomi's official flash tool
Steps to connect the phone in edl mode
1) switch off your phone and remove the back panel safely
2) disconnect the battery and keep the usb ready
3) short the test pin points and the connect the usb cable, as soon as you hear the voice of the driver installed on you pc. you are successfully in edl mode.
